Oklahoma City, OK – The Professional Fire Fighters, representing thousands of firefighters across the state, today officially endorsed Attorney General Gentner Drummond in his campaign for Governor of Oklahoma.

Ricky Burns, President of the Professional Fire Fighters of Oklahoma, issued the following statement:

“Gentner Drummond has earned the trust and respect of Oklahoma’s firefighters through his unwavering commitment to public safety. He understands the risks our members face and has shown again and again that he has our backs. The Professional Fire Fighters of Oklahoma are proud to endorse him for Governor.”

Drummond, a combat veteran and Oklahoma’s Attorney General, responded:

“I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of the Professional Fire Fighters of Oklahoma. These brave men and women always rush to our aid when we are in need. As Governor, I will continue to fight for the resources and respect they deserve.”

This endorsement is a significant boost for Drummond’s campaign, building on growing momentum among first responders. It follows similar endorsements earlier this year from the Oklahoma City Firefighters Association, Tulsa Fire PAC, and the Oklahoma Fraternal Order of Police.
