Association of Oklahoma General Contractors Endorses Drummond for Governor
Oklahoma City, OK — The Association of Oklahoma General Contractors (AOGC) announced their endorsement of Gentner Drummond’s campaign for Governor in an afternoon event surrounded by heavy equipment and transportation industry workers.
“The Association of Oklahoma General Contractors is endorsing Gentner Drummond for Governor because he is committed to investing in our state’s infrastructure, creating good-paying jobs and fighting against federal overreach and regulatory attacks on business,” said AOGC Executive Director Bobby Stem. “Our membership is very excited about supporting Attorney General Drummond because he has been a proven advocate for investing in roads and bridges, and he is a businessman who understands that our industry needs a stable and favorable regulatory environment to keep costs down and job growth up.”
Drummond said he is honored to have the support of AOGC, which boasts 226 company members representing more than 21,000 employees.
“I am honored to have the support of the Association of Oklahoma General Contractors, which is full of individuals who work every day to improve our infrastructure and connect our communities,” said Drummond. “I am grateful for the men and women who work tirelessly, often in dangerous situations, to build the roads and bridges that enable interstate commerce and promote economic development. As Oklahoma’s next governor, I will prioritize investment in our state’s infrastructure. I am honored to have their support and look forward to working together to improve our great state.”
Drummond is Oklahoma’s Attorney General, a decorated Gulf War fighter pilot, successful businessman, and lifelong rancher. Drummond announced his campaign for Governor on Monday, January 13 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.
